Action = “obligatory”; haste= “forbidden”

“(Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it… [The Quran, Surah16, Verse 1]”

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) says while interpreting this verse: “[the Command of Allah] is our command; implying the rise of “Qa'im” of Ahl al-Bayt, that Allah has ordered not to hasten it … Allah will support him with three armies of angels, believers and panic [among the enemies]…”

“The loud cry from the Heavens” in the Quran

Abd al-Rahman says: “I told Imam Sadiq (PBUH): “The enemies blame us and call us liars! We say “There will be two loud crys from the Heavens” They say: “When both are from the Heavens then how will be distinguished Truth from Falsehood?”” Imam said: “What did you say?” I said: “Nothing!” He said: “Tell them when the loud cry is yelled, whoever has believed in it before will confirm it; has the almighty Allah not said:””

“Is then He Who gives guidance to truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? What then is the matter with you? How judge ye?” [The Quran, Surah 10, Verse 35]

“Imam Hossein’s (PBUH) Vengeance” in the Quran

“…and if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law).” [The Quran, Surah 17, Verse 33]

Imam Baqir (PBUH) says while interpreting this verse: “anyone is slain wrongfully” means Hussein ibn Ali and the rest of the verse is Imam Mahdi (PBUH) that is mentioned by the term “he is helped”; as Allah called Ahmad and Muhammad by the name “Mahmud” and Jesus by the name “Christ””.

Identification code on the Day of Judgment

“One day We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imams … and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least.” [The Quran, Surah 17, Verse 71]

It is narrated from Imam Reza (PBUH) that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said while interpreting this verse: “Every group of people are called by the Imam of their time, their divine Book, and the tradition of their prophet on the Day of Judgment.”

Ithbat al-hudat, vol. 1, p. 166

What do we have to present while we are called with Imam Mahdi (PBUH) on the Day of Judgment?? What have we done for his Reappearance??

“The end of injustice” in the Quran

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says: “Anyone who likes to hold to my religion and embark the Ark of Salvation after me, should follow Ali ibn Abi Talib… Whoever assists Ali, Allah will assist him on the Day of Judgment when he is interrogated about his faith, he will be aided for the act of affirmation."

“From the descendants of Hussain (PBUH), there will be nine Imams, and the ninth of them will be the Qa’im of my progeny. Their obedience is my obedience and their defiance is my defiance. I will complain to Allah against those who challenge their superiority and deny their sanctity after me and Allah suffices as a Friend and as a Helper for the Imams and as an Avenger for those who have denied their rights:”

“And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take!” [The Quran, Surah 26, Verse 227]

Imam Mahdi’s (PBUH) whimper and entreaty at the time of Reappearance!

“Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering” [The Quran, Surah 27, Verse 62]

Imam says: “This verse has been revealed about our Qa’im, when he rises, he will wear a turban and say prayers at the Maqam Ibrahim and beseech Allah and his flag will be hoisted since then.” (A narration says: “He will beseech Allah till he faints and falls down to the ground.”)

Imam Mahdi’s (PBUH) first words after the birth

Lady Hakimah (Imam Jawad (PBUH)’s daughter) says: “I was with Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) on the seventh day after Imam Mahdi’s (PBUH) birth. He told his son: “Son! Speak.” And he said: “I testify there is no God but Allah” and he saluted Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ali (PBUH) and the holy Imams till he came to his father’s name. Then he said:”

“In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, And we wished to be Gracious to those who were being depressed in the land, to make them leaders (in Faith) and make them heirs.” [The Quran - Surah 28 - Verse 5]

Face is the index of mind...

“(For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.” [The Quran, Surah 55, Verse 41]

Muawiyah Dohni says: “Imam Sadiq (PBUH) asked me: “What do others say about this verse?” I said: “They think God will recognize the sinners by their faces on the Day of Judgement …” Imam Sadiq (PBUH) said: “How can God need to recognize criminals by face when he created them?” I said: “May I be sacrificed on you! Then what does this verse mean?”

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) said: “When Imam Mahdi (PBUH) rises, God will grant him the knowledge of physiognomy.” (Then he will recognize them by face and confront them)”

The proof of Imam Mahdi’s (PBUH) long life according to the Quran

“Had it not been that he (repented and) glorified Allah, He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection.” [The Quran, Surah 37, Verses 143 and 144]

Prophet Jonas was in the stomach of a whale; a place for digesting anything! With no air and no light! In other words, he was in possibly the worst place to live! Allah who has the power to keep his servant in this situation till the Day of Judgment, can’t he keep Imam Mahdi (PBUH) alive in natural situation?! It is interesting to note in that case the whale has to be alive until the Day of the Judgment too. If long life is impossible it is meaningless that Allah says” “He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection.” (Qafele Salar (leader of a caravan), p. 145)”

Imam Hasan (PBUH) said: “Allah will give him (Imam Mahdi (PBUH)) a long life and then he will reappear him as a 40 years old young man in order to show he is powerful over everything.” (Kamal al-Din and Tamam al-Nimeh, v.1, ch. 29, Hadith 2)

The period of Prophet Noah’s propagation was 950 years.  The Quran, Surah 29, Verse 14According to Imam Sadiq (PBUH) Prophet Noah lived 2500 years. (Bihar al-Anwar, v. 11, p. 258)

The food and drink of Ozayr remains fresh for 100 years with Allah’s permission. (The Quran, Surah 2, Verse 259) Another example is the Companions of the Cave who were alive for 309 years without food and drink.  (The Quran, Surah 18, Verse 17 to the end and…)

Yes, in fact, this is the “death” that needs a reason, not life…

Do you know what the wisdom of Luqman was for?

“We bestowed (in the past) wisdom on Luqman: "Show (thy) gratitude to Allah"…” (The Quran, Surah 31, Verse 12)

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) says while interpreting this verse: “The fact that Allah said “We bestowed wisdom on Luqman…” means that we granted him the recognition of the Imam of his time.” 📚The Keyword of Mahdism Verses, p. 324

Types of Mahdism verses: 1. Interpretive: Verses whose appearance and interpretation are about Mahdism. 2. Paraphrastic: Verses whose inner meanings are about Mahdism. 3. Comparative: Verses that have various meanings and Mahdism is also one of these meanings. 4. Explanatory: Verses whose subjects are not related to Mahdism, but they have distinctive applications for explaining Mahdism subjects and answering questions and doubts regarding Mahdism. 📚Ghafele Salar (leader of a caravan), Abazari, p. 34

Subjects that you have studied so far are one of the mentioned types of verses. Some researchers observed up to 265 verses of the Quran on the subject of “Mahdism” and “the international government of the righteous” that

we are equally satisfied by stating this much. Negin-e Afarinesh (the stone of the ring of the creation), v. 1, p. 68
