Ayatollah Bahjat :

What sufferings (hardships) are incurred by Imam Mahdi (PBUH) who is the owner of the whole planet earth and how does he feel and how do we feel? He is in prison and is not happy and we are absolutely ignorant…

In Bahjat’s Company, vol 1, p106

My friend, think about your Leader’s exile during which this vast world has become a jail for him...

The difference between Shiites belief in the Savior and others’

The difference that we Shiites have with other Islamic and non-Islamic sects is that we know this dear and great person; his name, his date of birth, his parents and his beloved ancestors, we know his “concerns”, but others do not know these... That's why Shiites’ resorts are "livelier" and "more enthusiastic" and "more meaningful" and "more focused"...

The basic principle of Mahdism principle is agreed on among all Muslims... But in the main part which is the "the knowledge of the Savior himself" there is inconsistent insight. Shiites, through their certain news, know the Savior by his name, specification, and his date of birth.

What kind of waiting?

The waiting that it spoken about, is not just sitting and weeping! We must prepare ourselves to become the

soldiers of Imam Mahdi (PBUH)

Awaiting for Faraj [the coming of Imam Mahdi] means to be prepared completely for the goal for which Imam Mahdi (PBUH) will rise up. That great historical revolution ...

Supreme Leader 81/7/30 - 87/5/27

God has given outstanding features (features of all prophets from first to last) to Imam Mahdi (PBUH) that has not given to any of the other Imams.

Imam Mahdi (PBUH) has inherited long life and patience from Noah, iconoclasm from Abraham, rebellion against the tyrant from Moses, judgment from Solomon, beauty and governance form Joseph, bright miracles from Jesus and uprising and universal revolution from Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). All the angels and even the angels of Badr and Uhud (Two Islamic Battles) and, in addition, 313 of special elites from all over the Islamic cities will be at his service. These are great transformations which require preparations. All these preparations must be made by Muslims and Shiites and most importantly people should be ready to accept his orders.

Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nuri-Hamedani – a Shiite Marja

Greater than Imagination...

I cannot refer to him as the leader, he is greater than this. I cannot say the he is the first person, because there is not any second person (throughout the ranks)! We cannot describe him with any description other than “The Promised Mahdi”. He is the one that God has saved for the mankind.

A good solution for precipitating the Reappearance

What kind of piety gets us nearer to the Reappearance? Only daily prayers which are performed on time and individual good deeds? If millions of people of this kind live together, but the communal life fails to be good, their piety does not thrive and is not of a great avail for the precipitation of the Reappearance! The real piety is that manifests itself in the flow of the communal life and collective work.

Imam Mahdi (A.J) in one of his commands has said: “If our Shias gather and fulfill the covenant they have toward me, very quickly the honor of seeing me will be granted to them.” {Al-Ihtijaj (2/499)}

It means that whoever expresses his allegiance to Imam Mahdi individually this would not end the occultation.

Mr. Panahian, Imam Sadiq University. May/22/ 2016

Should we be afraid of Imam Mahdi (A.J) or not?

Some have shown a violent image of Imam Mahdi (A.J) and some books have falsely introduced him as one who will kill as much as the earth will be filled with blood. This is done by enemies… Imam Mahdi is a Missionary of Mercy. His revolution is primarily not a military one but a cultural one.

We read in Aa’l-Yasin: “He is a “well-wisher for the world of humanity”, “the rescue ship”, “the flag of guidance”, “the apple of people’s eyes”, and “the best son of man”.

In different Hadiths, Imam Mahdi (A.J) has been resembled to two things: 1- the sunlight 2- the vitalizing and reviving water

Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, the 776th point taken from “1001 Points about Time”.

A single day with Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is much better than 100 years (without him)

It is because of our sins and [bad] behaviors that Imam Mahdi (PBUH) has been [more than] a thousand years in the exile and has been veiled. We are the reason of Imam Mahdi’s (PBUH) absence, as we cannot reach him. If he comes among us, who will murder him? Are we humans going to murder him or the Jinns?! We have been tested (and failed) previously throughout the history of the Imams…

Perhaps some narrations state that the life of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) would be very short after his

Reappearance, and some of those who wait for him are sad due to this, however, they don’t consider the

fact that living a single day with Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is much better than 100 years (without him).

Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Bahjat

Bloodbath and massacre or understanding and culture

How can the Esteemed Imam Mahdi (PBUH) fill the world with justice and equity? By killing? Now that the world population is seven billion, will six billion people become good humans if the other one billion get killed? It is just the beginning of a bloodbath. And if out of this seven billion, four billion get killed, will the remaining three billion become good ones? Never! How Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is going to succeed?

By force? By killing? Or by justice and acculturation? The first miracle is that he will make people rational, then the sane society, will become an honest and a justice-loving society.

Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi-Amoli’s speech, point 842 from the book “1001 points about Imam Mahdi (PBUH)”

Imam Mahdi’s (PBUH) loneliness

Imam Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH) said: “He is in exile, alone and absent from his family and is the avenger of his father.”

Kamal- al-Din, Chapter 34, Hadith 4

Allameh Seyed Mohammad Taqi Mousavi Isfahani:

Be aware that “exile” has two meanings:

1-Being away from one’s family, home and town.

2-And having few friends.

And Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is in exile in both senses.

Therefore, O believers, help him, O believers, help him.
