The branch of astragalus gummifer and birds in love
“There will be an occultation for Sahib al-Amr (Imam Mahdi) in which holding one’s religion likens removing the thorns of the tree of astragalus gummifer with one’s hands. People should seek refuge to God and hold on to their religions.” (Imam Sadiq [PBUH])
Yes, and also in such a situation:
“The hearts of the pure and pious people, like the birds which are fond of the tree, are eagerly waiting to meet you (Imam Mahdi).” Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH).
The tree of Astragalus gummifer is a big tree with thorns which look like sharp pins. In Arab literature, doing difficult and arduous tasks is likened to touching the thorns of this tree. For instance, tolerating a special condition by someone is like removing the thorns of this tree by moving one’s hand from top to bottom. It is obvious that doing such an action lacerates one’s hand.

Be like the bee!
Amir Al-Mu'minin said to his followers: “Be among the people like the “bee” among the birds. All the birds deem it weak and unworthy! But if they knew what there is in its interiors, they would not treat it so!”
Socialize with people on the surface and stay away from their viewpoints and doings, indeed every one will be rewarded according to his doings and will be gathered with the ones, whom he loves on the day of Resurrection.
You will not achive what you love and what you hope until … No one of you will keep on this matter except like the“kohl in an eye” or like the“salt in food”! {To be Imam Mahdi’s devotee, we have to fulfill Ahla Al-Bayt’s recommendations precisely till we are one of his devotees}

Worms and sedition…
Imam Ali said: “I give you an example; a man having some grain and he winnows and [so-called] purifies and sifts it and he keeps it in a store and closes the door…
After a while he opens the door and finds out the grain has been worm-eaten (becomes wormy). He takes it out and purifies and winnows it again, then puts it back into the store again and closes the door. After a while he comes to the store and finds out the grain has been worm-eaten! [He purifies and winnows it again and] does so again and again until nothing left except “a little grain of a yield” which will never be harmed by the worms.
“Predicaments should purify you in this way too, until none of you remains except for a group of you who will never be affected by seditions.”

Soothing and energetic…
Spring indicates copious rain, the rivers and streams are full of water, spring equals rain sprinkling and the fresh aroma that smells pleasant. It is spring that symbolizes freshness, regeneration, and delightful perception of love and light.
Peace be upon “mankind’s spring” and the “joyance of the hearts”.
Dear Mahdi! “You are the cloud which is full of rain”️
“You are the rain which is continuous”
“And you are the spring that is ebullient”
There will be no word about deserts and lands, at the time of Reappearance;
Because under your government every thing will be verdurous and novel……peace be upon you….

Like father and son
We're like a child whose father takes him to somewhere holding his hand and they pass through the market. The child is attracted to the shop windows and lets go of his father’s hand and gets lost in the market and when he can’t see his father, he realizes he is lost; the child thinks his father has been lost while he himself has been lost.
The prophets and saints are fathers of the people and take their hands so they could pass through the market of the world safely. Most of the people are attracted to the world and let go of the father’s hand and are lost in the market of the world. Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is not lost and absent; we are lost and absent.

The Sun behind the clouds
The fact is that clouds are far away from sun, and in reality it is the earth which is behind the clouds...
The real axis is the sun; the planets revolve around it and earn their light from it. There is no way that clouds could prevent all the effects of the sun; even if the sun is behind the clouds, it prevents the formation of absolute cold and darkness.
Even in a cloudy weather, no one can deny the existence of the sun. When the dark clouds move away, you can see the beauty of the sun. This brings human beings a hope; the hope of the disappearance of the dark clouds and the appearance of the sun.
The clouds are moving, they will fade and disappear eventually; yes! Obstacles, are not permanent.
God provides light and heat to the world through the sun. Any planet which is nearer to the sun will get more benefits.
Now by this example we understand why Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Imam Sadiq (PBUH) and Imam Mahdi (PBUH) have said that Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is like the sun behind the clouds during his occultation.
The moonlight
Hujjat al-Islam Qaraati:
“When the Earth (the humankind),
Turns away from the sun (i.e. the Imam),
night occurs, and when it faces the sun, it is daytime and everywhere is bathed in light. The occultation of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is like night!” the light of the sun is reflected on the moon at night so the moon uses this light and thus its light belongs to the sun.
“Imam Khomeini was like the moonlight in the night of occultation. We shouldn’t get lost. During the Shah's reign, some people wished for the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH); but when Sayyed Rouh-Allah rose up, they didn’t help him at all! Imam Mahdi (PBUH) will overthrow the Evils and Imam Khomeini overthrew an Evil. So he and his movement should be helped.”

Autumn clouds
According to a narration by Imam Ali (PBUH): “The companions of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) will gather like “the autumn clouds”.” [📚Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 51, p. 663]
Do you know the reason of such an allegory? It indicates at least three things:
1-“The gathering speed” and its constructive effects [as the autumn clouds have a considerable speed].
2-“The content of the companions” and not to be the empty vessels which make the greatest sound! [It can be inferred from «pluvial» feature of autumn clouds].
3- “The lack of attachment to material and the earth”. [Although the clouds rise from the earth, they won’t stick to it].
Attention: Have you ever contemplated on the translation of the verse 38of surah Al-Tawba”?
“Believers, why is it that when it is said to you: 'March in the Way of Allah, ' you linger with heaviness in the land? Are you content with this life rather than the Everlasting Life? Yet the enjoyment of this life in (comparison to) the Everlasting Life is little. [And tend to the world and its lust?!]”…
Airport
An airplane needs a safe and secure airport to land. To land a small airplane, a 200-meter track is enough but for a big aircraft we need an airport with a long runway to land safely.
The infrastructure of this airport should also be strong so it could bear thousands of tons of weight!
The realization of a universal government of Imam Mahdi (PBUH), with all that dignity and greatness, in the leadership of Imam Mahdi (PBUH), who is hidden from sight for thousands of years, we need a strong airport so this government could get established.
The definition of a satisfactory airport is that we need to develop the strong grounds of reappearance of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) and which should be available in every dimension.
On the night time …
Does the people who are waiting for the sunrise stay in darkness?!
Does the people who are waiting for the spring to come stay in cold in the winter?!
Providing the “brightness” in the night and the “warmth” in the winter, are both situated on the route to the sun and the spring. We should be seeking preparations during the occultation, preparations that are on the line of after the Reappearance events…
Praying is not saying; it is wanting! And not just wanting the presence of Imam, but seeking the moral and practical superiorities…
