The last successor in the Quran

“(And remember) when Abraham was tested by his lord with certain words and he fulfilled them…”

Mufaddal says that I asked Imam Sadiq (PBUH), “What does “words” mean in this verse?” the Imam said: “The same words which Adam learnt from his Lord and repented. When he said: “O Lord, for the sake of Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hassan and Hussein, accept my repentance, and his repentance was accepted. He accepts repentance and He is merciful.” He again asked the Imam: “What does “َفأتَمَّهُن” mean? Imam said: “Allah completed them to 12 Imams, the last one of whom is # the Qa’im.

The events near the Reappearance in the Quran

“Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of

your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.” [The Quran - Surah 2 - Verse 155]

Imam Sadiq said: “Before the Reappearance of Qa’im, inevitably, there must be a year in which people

starve and there will be strong fear of being killed and loss of property and loss of life and products for them and this is very obvious in the book of Allah [and then he read the above verse]

The importance of acquainting oneself with Imams in the Quran

“He granteth wisdom to whom He pleaseth; and he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing; but none will grasp the Message but men of understanding.” (The Quran - Surah 2 - Verse 269).

Abu Basir asked Imam Sadiq to interpret the verse that "Whoever has been given wisdom has certainly

been given much good ". Imam answered: “Wisdom is thralldom of God and acquainting oneself with

the Imam”.

“Imam’s knowledge” in the Quran

He is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning);

they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow

the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one

knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge … (The Quran - Surah 3 - Verse 7).

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) said:  “We are the persons who are firmly grounded in knowledge and know about

hidden meaning of the Quran.”

Swear to the Quran reading of Imam Mahdi in his Hejazi sound

Mohammed ibn Othman (the second special deputy) said: “When Mahdi, God’s Caliph, was born, the light was emitted from the top of his head to the sky, then he prostrated to his Lord. Then he picked up his head from prostration while saying:

Allah witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge - [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

The religion that shines after the Reappearance

The translation from a verse of the Quran: “Are they seeking a religion other than that of Allah, and to Him whosoever is in the heavens and the earth has submitted willingly and unwillingly…” [The Quran - Surah 3 - Verse 83]

Rifa'a said that he heard from Imam Sadiq that he said: “The interpretation of this verse is that when our Qa’im rises, there will be no land that the clause “There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” has not been said there.”

Tafsir Noor al-Thaqalayn, vol.1, p. 362

Angels are too…

"Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.” [Quarn, Surah 3, verse 125].

Yes (today) if you wait and have virtue, and soon the enemy will come upon you, God will help you with five thousand of the angels, which have their own signs!

Imam Baqir said: “The angels which helped the Messenger of Allah on the day of battle of Badr are on the ground and they didn’t ascend into the sky and don’t go there until the day that they help Imam Mahdi. The number of those angels is five thousands.

Subsiding in al-Bayda

Sufyani sends 70000 soldiers to Kufa to kill the people of Kufa and take them as hostages. Meanwhile some flags will arrive in Kufa among which there are true companions of Imam Mahdi.

Sufyani sends his army to Medina. After Medina they will go to Mecca following Imam Mahdi (PBUH). The commander of Sufyani’s Army will land in a desert.

Suddenly a roar and sound from the sky will say: “O! the hot and dry desert, destroy this wicked army.” And this is the time that the earth will destroy and swallow them. The Surah An-Nisa:47 is in this regard:

“O ye People of the Book! believe in what We have (now) revealed, confirming what was (already) with you, before We change the face and fame of some (of you) beyond all recognition, and turn them hindwards, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers, for the decision of Allah Must be carried out.”[Quarn, Surah 4, verse 47]

Jealousy to Imam!

“Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of His bounty?” [The Quarn, Surah 4, verse 54].

Imam Sadiq (PBUH) said: “We are the group God made obligatory for people to follow us ……. we are the true and authentic people in knowledge, people get jealous of us. Therefore, God is saying in this verse of Quran “God has given His grace and blessings to his Prophet and his Ahl al-Bayt, due to which people “envy” them”.

There is nothing left to say

This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. [The Quarn, Surah 5, verse 3].

Jabir says Imam Baqir said about this verse: “The Reappearance day of Imam Mahdi in which Umayyad dynasty will become hopeless, they are the the people who became pagan and have no hope in the Muhammad’s (PBUH) dynasty.”
